Peanut Butter Energy Balls

These Peanut Butter Energy Balls only take a few minutes to throw together, and they are a tasty snack to have throughout the day – especially as a pre-workout snack; due to the fat content, likely not the best to have prior to a high heart rate activity.

Prep time:  10 mins  I  Cook time: 0 mins I Total time: 10 mins  I Makes 10-14 servings depending on size

Main Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (8 tablespoons (level off) / 5 full spoonfuls) natural peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp honey / 3-second drizzle honey
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2-4 teaspoons water
  • pinch of salt

Optional extra:

  • 2 Tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 Tbsp flax

Nutritional Information: per ball (~ 1 inch round) if you make 14
